Dr. Joseph Braud
Dr. Joseph Braud is passionate about orthodontics and creating a confident smile. He is always willing to help you in all aspects of your life. Dr. Braud received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Meharry Medical College, School of Dentistry, Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2009. Afterward, he received his Certificate in Endodontics (MSPH) from Louisiana State University, School of Dentistry in 2011. He wanted to take his career further so he could help patients smile with confidence and received his Certificate in Orthodontics from Jacksonville University in 2016. When he is not working at the practice, he finds every available opportunity to get involved with helping the underprivileged community. He also enjoys traveling and spending time with his family.
Dr. Thuy Nguyen
Dr. Thuy Nguyen had a passion for the healthcare world and chose to go into Dentistry to help change lives through their smile. She believes in always treating the patient, not the diagnosis. She is committed to helping make a difference in your everyday life starting with a confident smile. Dr. Nguyen received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2008, from Meharry Medical College, School of Dentistry. She continued her education and received her Certificate of Orthodontics from Jacksonville University, School of Orthodontics in 2010. When she is not working at the practice, she enjoys helping her community and spending time with her family.
Dr. Parisa Zare, DDS
Dr. Parisa Zare is a Board Certified Orthodontist who has always been passionate about creating positive changes and seeing her patients’ confidence and self-esteem improve by helping them put their most beautiful and healthy smiles forward. Dr. Zare received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Ajman University of Science and Technology College of Dentistry in UAE, where she graduated with Merit in 2013. After moving to the United States to pursue her passion of becoming an orthodontist in New York City, she received her Certificates after completing both a one-year Advanced Program for International Dentists in Orthodontics and one-year of Orthodontic Research Fellowship at New York University College of Dentistry from 2014 to 2016. She then obtained her Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics after completing a three-year residency at New York University College of Dentistry from 2016 to 2019. Following her graduation, she voluntarily undertook hundreds of additional hours of preparation to demonstrate her judgmental skills and knowledge required to provide the highest level of care for her patients and became a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO) in January of 2020. Dr. Zare is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Board of Orthodontics, College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics, Southern Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, and New York County Dental Society. Committed to delivering outstanding patient care, Dr. Zare is upskilled in the latest orthodontic techniques and technology including temporary anchorage devices (TAD’s/mini implants), accelerated tooth movement (MOPs), Invisalign, pre-surgical orthodontic treatment planning, and intraoral scanning. She also has active dental licenses to practice in the States of Louisiana, Texas, and Virginia, as well as being fluent in English and Persian languages.
Dr. Tien Nguyen
Dr. Tien Nguyen has been practicing orthodontics for 18 years and has a wide range of experience. Although she was not born in the United States, Dr. Nguyen is an American at heart. She splits her time between Texas and Louisiana. She was raised in Grand Prairie, Texas, and graduated valedictorian of South Grand Prairie High School. She obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Dallas in Irving where she graduated with Summa Cum Laude distinction. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa the oldest honor society for the liberal arts and sciences in the United States. After graduation, Dr. Nguyen received a merit scholarship and completed her dental school education at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, graduating third in her class with Summa Cum Laude distinction. In recognition of her academic achievements while at dental school, she was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society. She went on to complete her orthodontic residency at the University of Nebraska in 2004, earning her Master of Science degree.
Dr. Remington Richardson
Dr. Remington Richardson, affectionately known as Dr. Rich, was born and raised in Louisiana. He embarked on his academic journey at Xavier University in New Orleans, where his passion for dentistry was ignited. After earning his bachelor’s degree, he continued to pursue his dream, achieving a Master of Health Science (MHS) and a Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the esteemed Meharry Medical College, School of Dentistry. Committed to the art of creating confident and healthy smiles, Dr. Rich furthered his education by specializing in orthodontics. He dedicated years of intensive study at Indiana University School of Dentistry, where he earned a Master of Science in Orthodontics and Oralfacial Genetics. Dr. Rich firmly believes that “in our society, image is everything.” Beyond his professional endeavors, Dr. Rich enjoys a rich and diverse range of interests. He is an avid collector of vinyl records and a passionate sports enthusiast, ardently supporting the Saints and Lakers. When he’s not at work or pursuing his hobbies, you can find Dr. Rich exploring the world, savoring the experiences that travel offers.Dr. Rich is a dedicated professional with a zest for life, committed to enhancing smiles and enriching the lives of those he touches.
